Visa Handling Fees & VFS Handling Charge
Visa Fees: ( payable at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands)

Visa fees have to be paid upon submitting the application and will not be
refunded if the visa is not granted or the application is withdrawn.

Visa fees are fixed in Euro.

As from 1 January 2007, the Schengen visa handling fee will amount
to Euro 60 and payable in Ghanaian Cedis (to the administrative
rate of exchange of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands - the
visa fees are therefore subject to change, without prior notice).
Countries with a visa facilitation agreement with the European Union:
The Schengen visa handling fees amounts Euro 35 for nationals from countries
that have concluded or are in the process of concluding a visa facilitation
agreement with the European Union. The countries are: Russia, the Ukraine,
Bosnia, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Moldovia and the Former Yugoslav republic
of Macedonia ( FYROM)
The following groups do not have to pay the visa fees:

Children under six years of age

Pupils, (post graduate) students and accompanying teachers on study or
educational trips and
-
Scientists that pursue specific research projects in one or more Schengen
partner states.
Please note that satisfactory proof will have to be submitted to establish that
one of the above exemptions applies.
VFS Handling Charge is GHc 22.60
